Troop 46 out of Waunakee, WI, was founded on May 9th, 1952, and has been running strong ever since. We are part of the Mohawk District, which is located in the Glacier's Edge Council. Troop 46 has guided over 140 youth to the rank of Eagle Scout, and we continue to guide more on their journey to Eagle. We practice traditional scouting activities such as camping, fire building, cooking, backpacking, and much more!
Troop 46 meets twice a month, where Scouts learn outdoor and leadership skills, prepare for upcoming campouts, and spend time with friends. Every month, rain or shine, we spend a weekend on a campout hiking, biking, cooking, and having fun. One week each summer, our troop attends a week-long summer camp. During this week, Scouts will spend their time outdoors developing leadership skills and deepening relationships within the troop. Troop 46 embarks on a high adventure trip yearly for qualifying Scouts. We traditionally offer a 4-year rotation between Sea Base, Philmont, Bektel, and Northern Tier.
